Clearwing was contracted by GMR Marketing to develop the design and installation of two large-format LED walls (40’X33’) and control playback system along with automated lighting, conventional dimming, and rigging of custom fabricated scenic elements for the Miller Lite Landing and Event Level Clubs at AT&T Stadium.
Additionally, Clearwing was contracted by MillerCoors as prime designer and builder of the Miller Lite branding effort in the stadium.
The new stadium and its massive size posed some unique obstacles that necessitated a creative approach in solving structural, data control, and user integration challenges. Clearwing worked closely with HKS Architects to develop the structural mounting details and electrical requirements for the 2400 sq. ft. video walls that flank the Miller Lite Landing, a 15,000 sq. ft. service and party deck.
The Barco SLite video walls featured video content fed from the Broadcast control room over 2,000 feet away by High End Systems Axon Media Servers controlled via a Whole Hog III Console. The deck amenities included state-of-the-art moving and LED lighting controlled by an architectural touch screen system. Lighting attracted attention to the band and dancer stages built throughout the deck as well as highlighted the Miller branding throughout the space.
The central feature of the deck is a 4500’ sq. ft. Miller Lite logo weighing approximately 26,000 lbs. rigged on 2-ton motorized chain hoists in the center of the landing. Over 1,200 feet of RGB LEDs were installed in the Miller Sign, providing a dramatic lighting effect through independent control of each of the 46,080 LEDs.
Clearwing also designed the Miller Lite branding in the North and South Field level clubs. These clubs offer a dynamic environment where players, press, and fans can meet before or after the game.
Clearwing designed the lighting and gobo presentation of the Miller Lite signage as well as illuminated the press areas for branding purposes. All lighting systems were integrated into the house lighting controller and dimming system.
