Dream City Church underwent a large auditorium renovation and sanctuary expansion to their main campus with Clearwing Systems Integration as an integral part.
Dream City Church planned to open remote campuses that would use broadcast video from the Phoenix campus for the spoken word segment of their services. This required a complete overhaul of the existing broadcast video system to make the move from standard definition to high definition. For the control room, Clearwing provided a system that included a Ross Carbonite Black Switcher and 32 x 32 NK Matrix Routing System with a host of accessories to provide for ultimate control of the live broadcast, the recording for other campuses, the bilingual feed, and the feed to webcast. For cameras, Grass Valley LDX 80 Camera bodies with Fujinon Long throw lenses were installed as well as a new fiber infrastructure to carry camera signals back to the upgraded Video Suite.
Communications were upgraded with Riedel which tied communications lines between the Phoenix campus and the remote campus. Finally, the first pair of Allen and Heath dLive S7000 desks were installed at front of house with two DX32s and one DM64 to accommodate all the signal lines.
The stage was then renovated at which time Clearwing installed new floor boxes, which provided connectivity to the Allen and Heath digital snake system, lighting, and video systems. New L-Acoustics monitors were submerged into floor cavities and a large rear drape was provided to assist with acoustics. New Color Kinetics LED up lights were installed to improve lighting for broadcast.
Finally, a grand lobby area was added as well as green rooms, classrooms, and rehearsal areas all with integrated audio and video. The additional areas needed to be multifunctional so the QSC QSYS audio system and Extron Crosspoint matrix switcher were installed. These two systems worked together to create a fully digital network and patch to provide ease of use for end users but retain maximum control over the various meeting spaces. Panasonic and Samsung monitors and video walls were hung from Chief mounts for marketing, announcements, and viewing the service. AV Connectivity was provided throughout the lobby and various rooms allowing the ability for small gatherings, meetings, presentations, and banquets.
